RasterFlex Accelerator Cards expand the power of SPARC(R) workstationsfor true-color windowing servers. With the cards, users can accelerateraster operations, improving the performance of OpenWindows or the XWindow System.With full pixrect compatibility, users can mix 24-bit, true-color and 8-bit pseudocolor windows on the screen simultaneously and drive them withaccelerated windowing performance. With RasterFlex-32, a single-slot SBuscard, users have a choice of video formats -- 1152 x 900 or 1024 x 1024.RasterFlex-HR (high resolution) is a double-slot SBus card with a videoresolution supporting up to 1280 x 1024. Both RasterFlex-32 andRasterFlex-HR work with 4- or 8-bit nondestructive graphic overlays.All RasterFlex accelerators are plug-and-play; application programs suchas NeWS, X11, or SunView(TM) can be run without a single modification.
